Camshaft sprockets help maintain the timing between the crankshaft and the camshaft. In time, these sprockets wear down or lose teeth, which can cause your timing chain to skip and potentially cause catastrophic damage to your engine. Installing new, OE type aluminum sprockets goes a long way to assure your car stays in top running condition. Sold individually.
